Your mini article spoke volumes for me. I'm Italian of immigrant parents and grew up during the 60s in Brooklyn NY. My parents were war stricken as children during WWII in Napoli Italy 🇮🇹. That experience made them tough as nails and so I was treated as a very responsible adult from the age of 7. I traveled on public bus to go to elementary school and even the subway. I was given a groceries list and use the baby carriage to go shopping for Mom. Point is you made me think about a feeling I never had the opportunity to feel, feeling like a kid of 12 years old. That said, I'm happy you reflected back and realize you got to not only experience that precious time in life, but it became a benchmark as to where you started to realize where and who you are today, A Beautiful Young Lady. BUON COMPLEANNO MOLLY🎂🌷❤️🤗
In youth you can get by on the promise of what you’ll become. But right around 28 is when potential is no longer good enough. You’ve got to show by the art you produce and the ability you demonstrate that you ARE special. I think you’re doing fine and ought to rise.
Happy Birthday! The last outfit feels like some alternate reality of streetwear and antique store. You could do a lot of fiction worldbuilding with that. It's cute and endearing.
Remember to not reflect on feeling like you have or haven't met your goals for too long. It's good to look back, but getting too caught up in that will keep you looking ahead as well. Everyone has those anxieties. It's not just society. It's normal.
