A couple of years ago I made my Etsy account private (annoying I know). Etsy is a place I spend a lot of time finding items that I love, some I have bought, but mostly I just keep them saved for “someday” or I share with the people close to me. Today though, is your lucky day, I am going to share with you some of the items I have saved on my Etsy. I am also going to share with you some various homeware shops that I deeply admire…most of which are vintage or custom made in small batches.
A good amount of these things are well out of my budget but I love having them as a source of inspiration for the things I want in my space. I also love it for learning about designers, design periods, materials, styles, etc. having this knowledge is also helpful when scouring for pieces that are similar and perhaps more affordable. I also think these are the pieces you invest in and have for many years to come, perhaps you even pass them down and they become family heirlooms.
If you do end up buying any of these for your space, please send me a picture!
Anyways, let’s get into this.
One of my favorite things I have gotten from Etsy is this green Italian Stilnovo style sconce.
When I first purchased it, I thought it was going to be much bigger than it actually was…thankfully I ended up loving the actual size of it. This is a very common experience when shopping online, especially for homeware. Make sure you are looking at dimensions and measuring them out in your space! This is my most important tip, don’t forget it…or do and maybe you’ll encounter a pleasant suprise.
If you are looking to find a similar one, I just found one. It is a chrome finish rather than a brass finish like the one I have but they are pretty much identical.
Now onto the others.
Below are a few Etsy pieces I have had saved for a while now. I will say the hamper is outrageously priced but she’s so cute. You could easily have it out and it would become a design element in your space. Secondly, the pendent light (second image at the top), I have had saved longer than most things. I have such a deep love for it. I have actually found a lot of people selling similar ones. I think its incredible…imagine it in a bedroom, I imagine the light it would give off would be a perfect cozy bedroom vibe. Anyways, enjoy the selection of things all linked below!

There are so many more shops that I love but these are just a few of my favorites. I hope you enjoy seeing these and I hope you too can gather inspiration from these shops or even treat yourself to a beautiful piece.
Ps: I love a beautiful functional item and I just really needed to mention this outrageous piece. I gasped when I saw it, it feels like it’s probably not that practical but I am obsessed with it. Little items like this really satisfy me. Also, can you imagine the toothpaste drips on the wall…but take a gander. So cute. I can see it in a chic little hotel. It’s also pretty reasonably priced…linked here just in case.
Okay, bye!
LOVE all your shares. Thank you thank you. Picked up those towels
